What is Baccarat?
The most glamorous casino game and one of the most traditional among card games.
In North American casinos, this game is often associated with high-roller players, as bets can reach truly impressive limits. Many people are hesitant to play for fear of not understanding the rules and losing their money, but in reality it is a very simple game that offers great entertainment from the very first hand.
How to play Baccarat
Punto Banco can be played on two types of tables: “midi” for a seated number of players equal to or fewer than nine, and “mini” for a seated number of players equal to or fewer than seven.
In the “mini” version, the cards are dealt by the dealer, and players are not allowed to touch the cards.
Basic rules of Baccarat
The objective of Punto Banco is to reach a score of 9 or get as close as possible to that value. This score is obtained by adding up two or three cards dealt to each of the two hands that compete against each other, namely Player and Banker. Each player can choose to bet on the Player, the Banker, or a Tie.
When adding up the cards in the game, it is important to note that tens and face cards are worth 0, and when the total exceeds 9, the tens digit is discarded, leaving only the unit value.

Each player is initially dealt two cards. The value of the hand depends on the points obtained by adding the value of the cards, disregarding the tens digit; only the units digit counts for the purposes of the game.
Four cards are dealt alternately, with the Player receiving two cards and the Banker two cards. If the total of the first two cards is 8 or 9 for either the Player or the Banker, the game ends immediately. If this is not the case, the drawing of a third card is determined by a fixed set of rules.

The payout of the winning bet is paid even money. If the Banker wins with a 6, players who bet on the Banker will win 50% of their original stake.
In the event of a tie between Player and Banker, players who bet on the tie will win 8 times their stake.

Verbal bets are not accepted and have no validity. The customer is responsible for their bets placed on the table layout. Participants may request advice from the table manager at any time, including during the course of the game.

Optionally, Punto Banco can also be played in such a way that, if the Banker wins with a score of 6, a 50% deduction will be applied to the winning bets in favour of the establishment.
All other hand combinations, whether for the Banker or the Player, will be paid even money.
Tie bets may not exceed 10% of the table maximum.
